Tucked away in a serene spot near Thiruvambady in Kozhikode, is a hidden gem – the stunning Arippara Waterfalls. A relatively smaller waterfall, what makes Arippara a real treat is the picturesque locale it is set in. Arippara is an eight-level waterfall that also includes Sullukallu, Vattakkuzhi, Nirannapara, Olichuchaattom, Shwasakkuzhi and Neelakkayathadaakam. It is the serene Iruvanji River that forms into the waterfall. Located about 15 km away from the town of Thiruvambady in Kozhikode, Arippara Falls is most impressive during the monsoon season in Kerala. The terrain surrounding the waterfall is predominantly rocky.
