The glass-bottomed skywalk is situated at a height of 7,200 ft (2,195 m) above sea level, nestled in the Himalayas. It overlooks the Chenrezig statue and the fDubdi monastery is central to the history of Sikkim as it is closely linked to the founding of the State of Sikkim at Yuksom in the middle of the 17th century by Lhetsum Chenpo and his two associate lamas.
