A collection of temples and shrines known as The Shore Temple is situated above the Bay of Bengal. It is situated in Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu, India, about 60 kilometres south of Chennai. It is a structural temple from the eighth century AD that was constructed of granite blocks.
