Choti Haldwani
Choti Haldwani, also known as Corbett Village, is a charming village nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand, India. Its history is intricately linked to the renowned hunter-turned-conservationist, Jim Corbett. In 1915, Corbett purchased a piece of land near his home in Kaladhungi and named it Choti Haldwani. He settled a small community of families there and devoted himself to developing the village.
