Chusul, Leh

Chushul is a village in the Leh district of Ladakh, India. It is located in the Durbuk tehsil, in the area known as "Chushul Valley", south of the Pangong Lake and west of the Spanggur Lake. The Line of Actual Control with China runs about 5 miles east of Chushul, across the Chushul Valley.

Chushul is a remote village with a population of around 950 people. It is located at an altitude of 4,350 meters (14,270 feet), making it one of the highest villages in India. The village is surrounded by a barren landscape of high mountains and cold deserts.
