The Goat village- Uttarakhand

Goat Village, one of the greatest ways to explore rural India, was established by Green People as a project to enhance local revenue and markets for organically grown goods. On the property, organic farming and agriculture are practised, including goat raising. Visitors can stay in purpose-built cottages with private bathrooms on the grounds. It is essentially operated as a homestay, with locals serving as hosts and preparing delectable local fare. Visitors can walk to the adjacent Nag Tibba mountain and enjoy camping in addition to learning about the local way of life (all arrangements are taken care of). The walk to the village takes around an hour. Pantwari, which is a couple of hours away from Mussoorie, is the closest motorable settlement.
